Hello, I’m Sophie Thompson, I would just like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the new Food and Drink Coordinator in Angus working on behalf of Appetite for Angus. Some of you may know me from my previous role as Development Worker at Murton.
There is an abundance of passionate food and drink growers, producers, retailers, outlets and third sector organisations who offer fantastic opportunities to experience and engage with food and drink in Angus.
I am passionate about Angus and look forward to working with, promoting and supporting, food and drink organisations, showcasing them on local, regional and global platforms. I believe that collaborative working through sharing information, knowledge and enthusiasm is key to promoting Angus as a fantastic Food and Drink Destination.
